Movie Dates

I went to see Michael Bay's new flick, The Island, starring Ewan McGregor and Scarlet Johanssen. I liked it. I thought it was a lot of fun.

This, however, is not the point of this post.

As many of you may remember, when I watch a movie, I get into a movie. It's like riding a roller coaster for me. I jump when the actors jump, I gasp when they scream, I throw my arms up when something comes flying out at me. I LOVE movies.

I went to The Island with Clista, my housemate, who has now said that she would NEVER go to a movie with me again unless there were many people sitting between us. I guess I distracted her through some of the SPECTACULAR action scenes.

Oh, well. I'd much rather go to a movie with a boy, anyway.

Basically I just want to give a shout out to Vin Diesel, he's 38 today.

I absolutely CAN NOT believe it!

I am a little upset with J.K. at the moment. I can't believe she did what she did.

It makes me nauseous.

I can't really finish a coherent thought in my head right now.

Empire Waistlines

Much in the manner of Liv Tyler's character in Empire Records when "Rex Manning Day" finally arrives is the way in which I find myself today.....IT'S HARRY POTTER DAY!!!!!!

It will be Harry Potter day at 12:01 am. I am very excited. I have the whole day planned today so that I will not be bored and anxious waiting for tonight, and I have the appropriate provisions in order to stay awake and read until I am finished with THE book. (I did this with OOP, and this book, I hear is shorter).

I am on pins and needles waiting for this. J.K. has said herself that she LIKES this book (the only other ones that she has said that about were SS and POA).

CAN NOT WAIT!!!!!!!

I wonder who dies?
Do Ron and Hermione finally acknowledge a little bit of their feelings for each other?
Who will be the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher?
How will the loss of Sirius effect (affect?) Harry's attitude?
Will the reason that Snape gained Dumbledore's trust so completely be revealed?
How will Loony Lovegood fit into the picture this year?
...and Ginny and Neville?
Who will be the new beaters of the Gryffindor Quidditch team?

Anorexic

I have been told, in no uncertain terms, that I have to post again. Hence I am posting. I do feel, however, that this is an entirely pointless exercise.

My life is utterly and inescapably boring. Nothing happens to me. And what does happen is not good news.
I don't get jobs that I apply for, friends plan things I can not attend because I have a horrible job, and co-workers are disrespectful of the authority I have over them.

I am rather melancholy at the moment. I would rather not be melancholy, but absolutely amazing things don't tend to happen to me. Not that I need absolutely amazing things to happen to be happy, but sometimes I need something to shake my life up a bit, and those things just don't happen.

Well, I've posted. You all, now, know that I am still among the land of the living. I will try to post more regularly.
